Job Summary: OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Virtual Performance Coach to join our team. As a Virtual Performance Coach, you will provide personalized one-on-one coaching to clients through our holistic well-being app. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and motivate individuals in achieving their well-being goals, offering support, guidance, and accountability. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different client needs. Skills, behaviors, and mindset include but are not limited to: Skills: You efficiently design experiences with the users in mind You deliver articulate and effective communications Behaviors: You influence others to achieve results You develop an inclusive environment digitally Mindset: You are motivated by being part of a team You are adaptable and able to adjust on the fly without getting tripped up Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities will include the following: Instructs, motivates, and assists participants in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals. Effectively deliver virtual programming including: 1:1 coaching sessions, educational webinars, live streaming classes (as needed), on demand content production (as needed), and other quality engagement activities delivered through our digital app. Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions to assess clients' goals, interests, current capacity, and health history. Then deliver effective recommendations (the “Gameplan”). Update Gameplan and/or reevaluate clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and feedback through the coach admin portal. Build and foster strong coach-client relationships. Drive high levels of active engagement through utilization of in app messaging to continuously check progress and motivate your clients. Ensures the basic level of Exos methodology is represented in their delivery of all virtual services. Assist with the development of marketing assets as needed to promote the brand. Maintain and foster a positive and inclusive community and culture reflective of Exos’ values. Support achievement of client customer metrics Perform all aspects of the position in a professional manner. Follow established policies and procedures of the company. Maintain professional credentials as required including attending necessary continuing education courses. Some travel may be required Other duties as assigned The Ideal Candidate will have: Minimum of (2) two years experience coaching experience or completion of Exos Performance Internship BA/BS in Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree (Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field desired) Excellent video presence and presentation skills in both small and large group settings Strong customer service skills where servicing the “client” is top priority Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products Other Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field. Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM Knowledge and application of Exos methodology, products, and solutions Experience teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability Ability to manage own schedule and balancing administrative responsibilities with client-facing services WHO WE ARE For nearly 30 years, Exos has been dedicated to getting people ready for the moments that matter by promoting a holistic approach to health.
