Job Description Administering the virtual computing environment (such as VMware vSphere) Administering monitoring solutions for virtual environments Patch management, managing backups and restores Administering, supporting and monitoring of hardware servers, fibre optic fabrics and data storage Troubleshooting of virtual environments Tuning, optimizing and capacity planning Recommending and implementing best practices and security standards Updating the technical documentation and operating procedures Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures Providing 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinating with 3rd line of support Participation in coordination and project meetings- Other specific duties aligned to profile as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of IT experience. Experience in administration of complex and large virtual environments (such as VMware vSphere or Nutanix) Experience with virtual environments’ monitoring tools (such as VMware Aria Operations) Experience updating and upgrading virtual environments and related products Knowledge of TCP/IP networking Experience in collaborating with multiple support groups Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes Good organizational and prioritising skills A proactive attitude, team-work spirit, being self-motivated with a strong user orientation Good communication skills Able to cope with fast changing technologies Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Infrastructure certificate (NCP-MCI) Experience with Vmware vSAN Experience with HPE SAN Storage arrays (e.g., HPE Primera) Good knowdledge of English equal to B2 according to CERF levels.
