*CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD*

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Virtualization Engineer to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operation and maintenance of a Dynamic Multimode VPN to enable enterprise remote access.
  • Architect virtualization and VDI environments, including servers, storage, applications, and network equipment for platforms like Citrix and VMware.
  • Ensure the delivery of appropriate IT services to remote and contingency sites, maintaining current system architectures.
  • Direct information assurance services for desktop presentations across security levels.
  • Oversee the testing and integration of virtualized operating systems, middleware, and applications, and support VDI network interfaces with coalition networks, including VM creation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
  • An active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
  • DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 451 Certs: SecurityX / CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or FITSP-O or GFACT or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
  • Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Proven administrative support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700.
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
