The CAD Engineer of Custom Infrastructure Support, will provide support for analog and mixed-signal designs using Cadence ecosystem and unix environment. Responsibilities include general user support for both layout and schematic designers, tool customisations and automation.

DESCRIPTION

In this highly visible role you will: - Provide full support for Cadence custom flows, tool development, installation and maintenance - Support Virtuoso Layout and Schematic software and release flows based on revision control system - Work with our design teams world-wide to develop utilities and scripts - Drive design methodology and flow automation - Involvement in test development, automation and regression flow support - Create and maintain relevant documentation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/MS degree in a relevant technical field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong expertise in programming languages such as Cadence Skill, Perl, Python, unix shell
• Proficient with unix environment and applied scripting
• Experience in Cadence Virtuoso layout and schematic ecosystem (editors, pcell, virtuoso customisation)
• Background in analog custom design or verification is of benefit
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
