[Employment Conditions] Division: Vision Care (Consumer Markets) (비전케어사업부) Job Title: Professional Trainer Contract: Regular Location: Seoul Key Responsibilities: 1. Training Delivery & Field impact Deliver high-quality product and clinical training sessions to internal teams and external partners (optical stores, ECPs). Adapt training delivery based on audience needs, ensuring clear understanding and practical application. Build strong engagement in training sessions to enhance knowledge retention and customer confidence. Represent the brand through professional and impactful training experiences in the field. 2. Field Engagement & Customer Insight Actively engage with the field to understand customer needs, challenges, and knowledge gaps. Gather real-time feedback from training sessions and customer interactions. Translate field insights into actionable improvements in training approach and messaging. 3. Digital & Innovative Training Approach Deliver and support digital and hybrid training sessions (e.g., webinars, virtual sessions). Introduce new training methods to improve engagement and effectiveness (e.g., interactive formats, case-based learning). Leverage digital tools to enhance learning experience and scalability of training. 4. Training Effectiveness & Business Impact Continuously improve training effectiveness by focusing on learner engagement, understanding, and application. Identify opportunities to enhance training impact on business outcomes (e.g., product understanding, sales confidence). Support measurement of training effectiveness through feedback and performance indicators. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care teams to align training with business priorities. Ensure consistency of key product messages across training sessions and customer interactions. Support internal communication by sharing key learnings and field insights. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field 3–7 years of experience in optical, healthcare, medical device, eye clinic or related industries Experience in customer-facing roles such as training, sales support, or clinical/technical support Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences (e.g., beginners vs professionals) Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow as a trainer Business-level proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Ability to communicate in English in a business environment Willingness to travel frequently (field-based role) Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an optician or in optical dispensing Experience in delivering training sessions, seminars, or workshops Experience in healthcare/pharma/medical device education or customer training Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: KyuYul Jung (정규열), ShinBi Park (박신비) Step out of your comfort zone, excel and redefine the limits of what is possible.
