Description

The University of Mount Union School of Business is seeking an experienced and passionate public relations professional and educator to serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Public Relations for the 2025/2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will teach undergraduate public relations courses in the areas of strategical and ethical public relations, public relations campaigns, event planning, and public relations cases. They will bring real-world experience and/or academic expertise in public relations to the classroom, guiding students through key concepts such as stakeholder engagement, research methods for issues management and audience segmentation, and the critical evaluation of PR campaigns.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a master’s degree in public relations or closely related field. A Ph.D. in public relations or a closely related business discipline from an ACBSP-accredited or similar accredited university is preferred.

Minors offered in the School of Business serve the entire University community, and include accounting, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, and sport business.
