The Business Program at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana invites applications for a non-tenure-track position in Accounting beginning in August, 2025. The position will be appointed as a visiting assistant professor, though the position may convert to tenure-track at a later date. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach the following courses; Foundations of Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Principles of Finance, and Production-Operations Management. Some adjustment to the array of courses may be possible. The position requires a teaching load of 12 credits each semester, for a total of 24 credit hours per academic year.
The successful candidate will support and carry out the mission of the college as well as demonstrate a commitment to developing and enhancing a culture of rigor, excellence, and achievement. A master’s degree in accounting is preferred, but consideration will be givento candidates credentialed in related areas. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025.
