We are seeking to recruit a talented and qualified piano teacher to join our team of Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs), to start at the beginning of September (2025), or as soon as possible after. This is a self-employed position and the amount of work available will depend upon the number of pupils wishing to take individual piano lessons.
In the first instance, we are recruiting a well-qualified piano teacher to take on individual pupils in Prep and Senior School. It is anticipated that there will be in the region of 30 pupils but exact numbers are unknown for next academic year. There is the potential for these numbers to increase with demand.
There is also the opportunity to take on accompanying, aural training and co-curricular ensemble work within the School.
The Director of Music is responsible for the organisation of all VMTs, all of whom must undertake whole school INSET involving safe-guarding of children.
Lessons are charged to be charged to parents at the rate of £18.75 inc vat per half hour lesson
