Description

JOB OVERVIEW

The school is seeking a skilful and experienced musician to be part of our dynamic and growing Music Department. We currently have two hours of teaching available. However, there will be the opportunity to build these hours from September with the support of our Head of Music.
Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) at Northbourne Park School are responsible for administering their own timetable, including sourcing of resources and repertoire. They are supported by the Head of Music and provided with access to school systems to timetable and register their students. VMTs set their own teaching rate and invoice parents directly. A nominal charge is payable to the school in exchange for the promotion of their services and use of the school’s facilities. VMTs are expected to report on student progress to parents/guardians.
In return, we offer a delightful school community, a strong team of supportive colleagues and a lovely rural working environment. Northbourne Park has a strong tradition of musical excellence. Home | Northbourne Park School
