Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Visiting Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.
In this role, you will carry out home visits, identify and address housing or safety concerns, and ensure residents receive the right support to sustain their tenancy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Experience working in housing management or social housing services.
• Background in supporting residents to sustain tenancies and access services
• Knowledge of housing legislation, safeguarding, and fire/health & safety obligations.
• Confident in using housing management systems and maintaining accurate records.

• Conduct Annual Home Visits, assess household information, tenancy conditions, and resident needs.
• Identify and report issues, including repairs, disrepair, fire safety risks, and safeguarding concerns.
• Support residents, provide advice, signpost to relevant services, and help sustain tenancies.
• Work collaboratively, share findings with housing teams and contribute to improving neighbourhood services.
