Senior academics and postdoctoral students specialising in economics and finance are invited to apply for a research visit at the Deutsche Bundesbank’s Research Centre.
Research visits at the Bundesbank can last between three and twelve months.
The remuneration is commensurate with the successful candidate’s professional experience.

Visiting researchers typically work on projects in the following areas: macroeconomics (especially in the fields of monetary and fiscal policy), microeconomics of the household, empirical banking, asset pricing and financial stability. We are particularly interested in research projects on:

• quantitative macroeconomics;
• consumer expectations;
• central bank digital currencies;
• climate change and sustainable finance.
