JOB DESCRIPTION

Sewickley Academy is currently seeking to hire a Visitor Center Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a key and vital role for the Admissions Office. As the first touch point for visiting students, families, and guests, this individual needs to provide high-level customer service to ensure that all Sewickley Academy visits start and end well. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of visitor services, including campus tours, admissions support, and customer engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, hospitality, communication, or a related field (preferred)
  • High-level customer service with proven experience in customer relations
  • Demonstrate ability working in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and adaptability to change situations to meet current needs, and the ability to reprioritize
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including PivotTables and CRMs or SIS
  • Strong and proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise judgment, diplomacy, and confidentiality
Responsibilities
  • Lead in answering the Academy switchboard. Providing excellent customer service to those calling, connecting them with whom they need, or helping them with their questions/requests.
  • Provide high-level customer service to all guests. Welcoming them in a professional and welcoming manner. Utilizing the Raptor system to log who is in the building at what time. Responding to inquiries promptly, reporting any issues that may arise to the appropriate teams/offices, and assisting with event registration.
  • Represent Sewickley Academy to prospective families and community members via phone, email, virtually, and in-person at select admissions events.
  • Lead on the Admissions email, answering the requests and referring questions to other admissions team members.
  • Scheduling and coordinating campus tours and shadow days.
