Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to provide patrons with a positive memorable experience while viewing galleries, learning about artists, shopping, and enjoying food and beverage. The Visitor Experience Associate Level 3 has broad knowledge and experience and works in the café, retail shop, and front desk at the Art Center, Art Preserve, and ARTSpace. At times, oversees management of SHOP when working alone. This role will fill in when other staff are out. This role cross trains other staff members on the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system and Point of Sale (POS) and is primary subject matter expert for the system. This position reports to the Visitor Experience Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. Receivesandprocessesinvoicestoensure payment for orders and merchandise.(20%) 2. Cross train staff in the Café, SHOP, and Front Desk on CRM/POS and operational procedures.(20%) 3. Produce and audit daily sales reports fromCRM/POSsystem, prepare deposits, and ensureaccuratecash drawer balances and credit card transactions.(15%) 4. Assistwith merchandisingproductsbyresearching artists. (15%) 5. Respond to inquiries and educate patrons about menu, programming, merchandise, exhibits, and local resources. (10%) 6. Act as backup manager fortheSHOP.(10%) 7. Sell tickets, camps, classes, membership, preschool tuition,alcoholicbeverages,and merchandiseutilizingCRM and POS systems. (10%) 8. Other duties as assigned.
