JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in visitor relations, event management, or a related field.
  • Degree in Mass Communication, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related discipline. Non-degree holders with relevant experience may be considered.
  • Valid First-Aid and AED certification.
  • Ability to work weekends and after office hours when required.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Visitor Executive (VE) to oversee the smooth operations of the Information Counter, and coordinate event-related activities at a gallery. The VE will be responsible for supervising a team of Senior Visitor Officers, Visitor Officers, and other staff, ensuring all duties are efficiently carried out. Additionally, the VE will conduct gallery tours when required and be the primary liaison for all tasks related to visitor relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and manage a team of Visitor Officers to ensure smooth daily operations at the Information Counter.
  • Track daily attendance of the Visitor Management Staff.
  • Prepare and submit monthly visitorship statistics, QSM, and other reports.
  • Conduct regular checks on signage and visitor facilities, submitting monthly reports on findings.
  • Respond to general email enquiries related to visitors’ information and activities.
  • Schedule and manage filming and photoshoot requests.
  • Monitor and implement visitors’ feedback and put forward recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including setup and teardown, site recces, and execute flagship events as needed.
  • Draft public notices and seek approval for digital signage.
  • Oversee valuable lost and found items, ensuring they are securely handled and reported.
  • Participate in fire safety training and disseminate information to staff.
  • Update tour scripts and exhibit information, ensuring alignment with the Board’s approval.
