Description

VISITOR SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to oversee the smooth running of Deene Park’s public open days, private group visits, ticketed events, and tearoom operations. This varied temporary role is cover for maternity leave, offering the chance to make a real impact over a 12 month period.
The opportunity combines event planning, operational support, marketing, and visitor experience with an awareness for budgets and record-keeping.
You will oversee seasonal staff and volunteers, ensuring excellent training, motivation, and support. The role also carries responsibilities for fire safety, first aid, and security duties on a rota basis. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work flexibly and hands-on to deliver outstanding service.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key part in the running of one of Northamptonshire’s most historic country houses, working closely with the Owner and Estate team to deliver memorable visitor experiences and preserve the estate’s heritage.
