POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Visual Branding & Design Specialist who can take existing assets, align them with desired visual objectives, and develop a cohesive visual strategy for high-profile, long-term initiatives. This design specialist is able to shape the project’s visual identity - from branding concept creation to full integration across documents, presentations, and communications.
The ideal candidate is not just a visionary but also a doer - someone who thrives on producing high-quality deliverables quickly, works closely with leadership to bring ideas to life, and can seamlessly merge strategy with execution.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 5+ years in graphic design, branding, or visual communications, preferably within corporate, government, or large-scale project environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing concept-to-completion design work.
  • Proficiency in professional design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent); openness to using AI-assisted design tools.
  • Proven track record of producing visual reports and data dashboards.
  • Experience working within established brand or color guidelines while adding creative value.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be part of a mission-driven organization helping clients navigate complex transformation.
  • Experience working with large institutional clients.
  • Background in integrating branding into long-term initiatives.
  • Understanding of communications strategies in high-visibility projects.

Responsibilities

Brand Development & Integration

  • Audit existing visual assets and develop a unifying color scheme and style guide that aligns with the client’s visual standards.
  • Create and refine a unique initiative title and brand identity to be used across all communications for the next decade.
  • Integrate branding across all work products, including documents, PowerPoints, reports, and digital content.

Visual Content Creation

  • Develop compelling visuals to support messaging, especially for audiences with short attention spans.
  • Leverage AI tools for content creation when appropriate, while maintaining a professional design standard.
  • Produce infographics, digital assets, and visual reports that clearly communicate progress, trends, and data insights.

Data Visualization

  • Transform complex data into accessible, visually engaging reports and dashboards.
  • Highlight key metrics, trends, and progress in a way that supports decision-making and engagement.

Collaborative Concept Development

  • Work in close partnership with leadership as a “thought visualizer,” turning ideas into tangible visuals in real time.
  • Adapt quickly to feedback and contribute creative solutions in fast-paced discussions.

Execution & Productivity

  • Maintain a strong work ethic and high productivity in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Use available content and resources efficiently, helping to translate existing written materials into engaging visuals.
