Description
This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 5-20 LPA) Experience: 1+ yrs Location: India Job Type: full-time We are looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Visual Designer to shape the visual identity of a fast-scaling consumer retail and commerce network. This role sits at the intersection of design, growth, and product communication, where your work will directly influence customer engagement, conversion, and brand perception across digital and offline touchpoints. You will be responsible for designing high-performing marketing creatives, motion assets, and brand visuals that drive engagement across performance marketing channels, app experiences, and retail environments. The ideal candidate understands both aesthetics and conversion psychology — how visuals influence user behavior, improve click-through rates, and strengthen brand recall. You will collaborate closely with growth, product, and marketing teams to rapidly iterate on creative outputs, build scalable design systems, and ensure consistent brand storytelling across platforms. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for designers who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy blending creativity with measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design high-converting creatives for performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and in-app channels. Create motion design assets and Lottie animations for app UI, onboarding flows, notifications, and brand communication. Develop scalable visual systems including templates, design libraries, and brand guidelines. Design marketing and retail assets including packaging, store branding, and offline promotional materials. Collaborate with growth and product teams to run A/B tests and iterate on creative performance. Produce engaging short-form video content for social platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and WhatsApp campaigns. Maintain strong visual consistency across all brand and customer-facing touchpoints. Translate business and marketing objectives into visually compelling design outputs. Work in fast cycles from concept to execution while maintaining high design quality. Continuously refine creative output based on data, performance insights, and user behavior. What Makes You a Great Fit Strong hands-on experience in visual design, motion design, or performance marketing creatives. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. Experience creating Lottie animations using tools like LottieFiles or After Effects plugins. Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, color systems, and conversion-driven design. Experience working in e-commerce, quick commerce, or consumer-facing digital products is highly preferred. Ability to work at speed without compromising on quality or attention to detail. Strong understanding of how design impacts user engagement and business performance. Experience designing for app-first or digital-first brands is a strong advantage. Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, performance-oriented creative work.
