For the Sesto Fiorentino plant, Eli Lilly is looking for a Visual Inspection Engineer who will report to the TSMS Sr. Manager and be responsible for managing process issues, supporting improvement activities, and investigating non-conformities related to the process.
He/she is responsible for ensuring that the Qualification and Validation of the visual inspection lines are managed in compliance with GMP and Lilly standards, that complex process issues related to the visual inspection area are managed and solved, and, if necessary, escalated to the secondary loop.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in a technical-scientific field
- At least 1 year of previous experience in the role, preferably gained in pharmaceutical production contexts
- Good knowledge of visual inspection systems, mechanical, electrical and automation systems
- Good knowledge of English and ability to interact with colleagues from other network plants
- Basic knowledge of statistics
- Knowledge of IT systems

Responsibilities:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check of the process parameters in order to prevent non-conformity
- Intervene on the line to understand the root cause of performance or quality losses
- Support investigation on non-conformity related to process
- Coordinate and/or execution operative activities
- Write, execute and summarize protocols for change controls
- Investigate manufacturing changes with impact on the process
- Support PV activities
- Execute technical studies for investigation or continuous improvement
- Is responsible of the maintenance and calibration status of test equipment of the lines
- Collaborate on complaint investigations
- Management of complex troubleshooting to solve process issues
