We are currently recruiting a Visual Merchandiser to join our NSW VM team. This role is based in our premier location, Market Street Sydney. ABOUT THE ROLE Chanel Boutique Visual Merchandising showcases Chanel’s luxury design as the unrivalled Fashion House, delivering a client experience unlike any other, whilst enhancing sophistication across all areas, including Visual Display. This role will be responsible for upholding our standards within the boutique while working with the Head of Boutique to achieve commercial outcomes, with outstanding merchandising. WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL The Visual Merchandiser is required to use their sense of design and styling to convey the fashion and image message of Chanel through Visual Merchandising and window display. You will be required to work with the latest international and regional guidelines, ensuring high execution and consistency of brand’s image in all areas related to merchandise presentation throughout the Chanel boutiques and according to “one boutique one story” strategy. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Prepare and organize the POS tools as well as interior and window displays for the boutique Install window displays, mannequins and instore display’s for each collection as well as throughout the month, to ensure the best representation for the clients eye. Implement and maintain high standard of visual presentation for boutique. Ensure mage consistency and implement window displays and merchandise presentation in the market. Prepare and install all special events (replica shows / collection previews / private viewing…) involving product display. Bring support to your VM team and help to prepare window, in store merchandise, POS tools and visuals for important VM changes. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Degree/Diploma in Visual Merchandising studies or similar qualification. Relevant experience in visual merchandising in retail industries Strong sense in Fashion & Arts and a good understanding of brand DNA and how this reflected across a retail landscape. Patience and detail-minded approach to your work, with the ability to think creatively and innovate. Learning agility and flexibility to constantly adapt to retail and Image needs, while also thinking commercially. Responsibilities
The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for conveying Chanel's fashion message through visual merchandising and window displays, adhering to international and regional guidelines to ensure high execution and consistency of the brand's image. This includes preparing, installing, and maintaining all interior and window displays for collections and special events, while supporting the VM team.
