QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in visual merchandising for apparel stores.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to commute from Burlington through to Windsor (all of South Western Ontario region).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule / various shifts to meet the needs of the business including weekends and holidays.

PURPOSE:

The Visual Merchandiser is to assist the Store Management team to maximize sales productivity by effectively implementing visual presentation strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executes floor plans and implements visual directives to positively impact store sales.
• Train, coach and hold store teams accountable for all aspects of visual merchandising.
• Manages all aspects of visual and marketing presentation to enhance store productivity and maintain the brand.
• Develop store management teams on how to achieve and maximize sales goals through visual presentation techniques.
• Accountable for the execution of window and merchandising directives.
• Ensures store setup and proper signage are used as per company directives
• Monitors and ensures 100% compliance of all markdowns
• Creates visual impact with mannequins, floor displays and merchandise presentation.
• Partners with the operation team to ensure that all objectives of the store are being achieved
• Ensures stores are organized and tidy
