Description
The Role Austin Group is seeking a motivated Visual Merchandiser to join our GAZMAN team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. Based in VIC, this role offers the opportunity to bring the brand to life by creating engaging in-store experiences that connect with customers and present our product at its best. You’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining national VM standards across our Victorian store network. Working closely with field partners, you’ll build strong relationships while providing guidance, training, and direction to store managers and retail teams. You’ll also manage monthly and fortnightly VM rotations, store reporting, and field communications, ensuring all in-store presentations align with national directives and regional business initiatives. This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week. The preferred days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (9:00am–5:30pm). Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Implement VM briefs and directives to company expectations across 6 metro and 3 regional sites throughout Victoria Adapt and elevate the VM direction to suit different store fit outs Implement seasonal and promotional windows in line with VM briefs and directions Liaise with VM Manager and Regional Manager on lifestyle adjacencies and store layouts Attend and contribute to store openings Create good working relationships with store managers to ensure directives are understood and implemented Ensure that stores teams are trained on VM principles and standards Help create an authentic connection between our brand and customers Assist with prop construction and creation About you: Minimum 3 years’ experience in fashion/apparel VM, ideally within menswear Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles Current driver’s licence and own vehicle Results-driven, motivated, and an effective communicator Excellent multitasking, time management, and organisational skills Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of retail drivers Able to plan and manage projects to deadlines Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure Why join us?
