As a Visual Merchandiser you will develop, design and communicate the merchandinsing principles and execution guidelines for Kingfisher Own Exclusive Brands (OEB) ranges for all markets, format and operationg companies.

What’s the job?:

  • Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising you are responsible for the design, development, and communication of Merchandising Execution Guidelines for all Kingfisher OEB ranges
  • Working in collaboration with the Group Brand team create Execution Guidelines that respect Kingfisher Group OEB & Category principles whilst meeting the needs of both the Consumer and the individual Operating Company
  • Working in collaboration with Group Communications team, ensure OEB range and product communications are effectively integrated into the customer journey
  • Working in collaboration with the Space Planning Analyst – OEB, ensure all Merchandising guidelines reflect optimal macro and micro space requirements for individual formats and markets
  • Ensure all design guidelines follow the developed fixtures and equipment guidelines across all the Banners
  • Ensure all format guidelines are aligned to OEB & Category principles for flow and customer journey and optimised for individual markets and formats
  • Support the development and execution of OEB Events/Expos designed to showcase new and updated OEB ranges
  • Maintain direct liaison with all market Visual Merchandising teams ensuring execution standards are in line with guidelines. Review and update guidelines to support ongoing effective execution
  • Review and identify, develop and communicate updated principles and guidelines for new and updated ranges following group, industry and local market best practice

What you’ll bring:

  • Visual Merchandising for multi-site, multi-format and international markets
  • Customer journey mapping
  • Knowledge in identifying future customer behaviors and trends
  • Confident in utilising sales and space performance data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in relevant design software –SketchUp (primary), AutoCAD (secondary), etc
