Description
About Wego Wego is the largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. We bring together the region’s top airlines, hotels, and OTAs so travellers can compare and book in one place. About the Role We’re looking for a self-starting design intern to join our Marketing content team. You’ll take ownership of still and motion graphics projects for Wego’s brand channels — and you’ll work with cutting-edge GenAI tools as part of your daily workflow. This isn’t a passive learning role. You’ll be expected to take initiative, figure things out independently, and deliver polished work with minimal hand-holding. If you’re the kind of person who thrives on autonomy and loves experimenting with new creative tools, this is for you. What You’ll Do • Handle still and motion graphic requests end-to-end, from ideation through delivery • Compose and refine GenAI outputs (text-to-image, text-to-video) into polished, on-brand assets • Support the production of YouTube video content for Wego’s travel channel, including concept development and editing • Contribute to landing page, blog, and web page design • Stay on top of emerging AI creative tools and bring new ideas to the table What We’re Looking For • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design, visual communication, motion design, or a related field • A portfolio (student or personal work is welcome) that demonstrates solid visual fundamentals — composition, typography, layout, and an eye for detail • Working knowledge of at least two of the following: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or CapCut • Familiarity with GenAI image or video tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Veo, Sora, or similar) is a strong plus — but eagerness to learn them quickly on your own counts too • Self-driven and resourceful — you don’t wait to be told what to do, you figure it out and get it done • Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and manage your time across multiple tasks What You’ll Gain • Real portfolio pieces from a major travel brand shipping to millions of users • Deep exposure to GenAI-powered creative workflows — a skillset that’s increasingly in demand • Experience working in a fast-moving, global tech company • The kind of ownership and autonomy you won’t find in most internships To Apply Submit your resume and portfolio (student projects, coursework, or personal work all count). If you have motion graphics samples, please include at least one — along with a short note on the tools and process you used.d to do your best work.
Responsibilities
The intern will handle still and motion graphic requests end-to-end, including composing and refining GenAI outputs into polished, on-brand assets for Wego's channels. They will also support YouTube video production through concept development and editing, and contribute to web page design.
