You will be responsible for productionising of internal systems from focused application into transformative products. We focus on the application of stringent software processes and strong methodologies to facilitate the migration work into a product. We also have a set of responsibilities supporting strategic business initiatives, including delivery products into a full- scale production environment. The area is fast paced with a strong focus on delivery.
Translate the strategic vision and business objectives into a set of Software Requirements that will guide the delivery and implementation of product offerings into the array of engaging consulted business units. Knowledge of the different Architectural Methodologies and practical application into a suitable business model that can be used to guide the business development process.

Vitality Subject Matter Expert

• Provide Vitality/Wellness subject matter expertise to projects to ensure projects align with the business initiatives and strategies.
• Consult and work with business units Vitality sponsors to generate requirements as well as revise and guide business requirements documentation updates for changes on the Vitality platform.
• Create functional and technical requirements documentation for changes on the Vitality platform.
• Historical knowledge of the Vitality platform essential for the effective execution of future changes, enhancements within the platform to meet transformation targets.
• Assist in operational rollout and support as well as triage any problem areas/incidents that may arise due to Vitality product or technical inconsistencies.
• Work with offshore and onshore development teams to ensure the implementation and design matches the business requirements.
• Quality assurance gate for deliverables to ensure all are aligned to the requirements and meet the object of the Vitality strategy.

Decision and Solution Design Artefacts

• Create a high-level architectural design, logical design, high level mapping (data, processes), and Information Flow
• Ensure that the technical design will integrate to required systems, that the design is technically feasible and aligned to the business and technical strategy.
• Assist in developing alternative solution proposals and participate in the evaluation and selection process.
• Develop and maintain key strategic views of the enterprise from a business perspective, using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.

Business Architecture

• Describe the target business architecture vision within the context of the baseline Architecture and a roadmap on how to achieve that vision.
• Develop key viewpoints and components required to satisfy current stakeholder requirements.
• Reviewing and enhancing catalogues of defined Business Architecture elements bringing alignment across the enterprise.
• Work closely with system and enterprise architect to ensure alignment of business architecture through to systems architecture creating a cohesive solution.

Business Product Definition

• Help to bring alignment and uniformity in product experience across the product domain. Incorporates multiple architectural views to support stakeholder and delivery team during the design and delivery of products.
• Help to define and engage in the definition of a new business product / changes to existing business product, through consulting on feasibility of existing models / capabilities and leveraging off current people, process, and technology to maximize product / benefit uptake.
• Ensure appropriate solution design which meets the strategic fulfillment of the business unit capability using appropriate technology, collaborating with the solutions and Enterprise architects.
• Ability to successfully negotiate product/solution alternatives.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems problems.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in informatics, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Vitality technical delivery and understanding of Vitality solution
• Process knowledge of SDLC, Project Management, Business architecture, BizBok or TOGAF
• Significant exposure to business product strategic thinking and implementation across a product range.
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in managing large scale projects
• Minimum of 7+ years’ relevant business experience on Wellness related product development
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in software development implementation
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in technical, business requirements analysis and documentation
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience with digital delivery channels
• Experience in implementing business rules designs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Business Architecture Essential
• Strong knowledge on Wellness Products is Essential
• Strong knowledge of Data modelling techniques, UML process design, Usability design Essential

Financial and Non-Financial Measures

• Successfully rollout strategic projects.
• Improved number of changes being deployed into production for Vitality platform.
• Increase in the number of business initiatives being delivered on the Vitality platform.
• Increase in the quality of the business outcomes from Vitality IT delivered changes.
• Effective leadership experience to lead team for effective execution of projects, managing task allocations and output.
• Mentor and support other staff members.

Communication Requirements

• Communicate, engage to manage multiple levels of stakeholders when required during project initiation and implementation phases, these include product owners, SMEs, testers, developers
• Engage stakeholders in both Group Office, BUs and multiple vendors effectively
• Listen, challenge with empathy, decide and execute
• Express complex issues and opportunities in clear and simple terms to technical and non-technical people
• Business proficiency with English
