Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled VM Residential Construction Manager to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. In this role, you will oversee and manage residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality standards, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for residential construction projects Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain quality control Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process Implement and maintain efficient construction management systems and processes Stay updated on industry trends and innovative construction techniques Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction management, preferably in Uganda or East Africa Proficiency in project management techniques and tools Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and cost estimation Familiarity with Ugandan building regulations and standards Expertise in residential construction methods and materials Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong leadership and communication skills Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are preferred Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus Global Contract type: Permanent Region: EMEA Area: Africa Global Department: Sales
