Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for examining all loaded items for accuracy, returning defective items, and updating the inventory sheet. Driving the delivery vehicle and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with VMI is highly desired
  • Inventory control experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Always maintaining a professional and courteous attitude
  • Must have good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office software
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record

Responsibilities
  • Stock bins and take inventory in customer facilities
  • Ensure that customer questions and concerns are promptly and courteously resolved
  • Track open customer orders and expedite with suppliers, obtain price, and delivery quotations from vendors
  • Pick, pack, load and deliver parts and supplies at various locations
  • Work with existing customers to actively sell products and services
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of culture, sales, and product lines
  • Various sales assistant duties such as processing/entering orders
  • Responsible for effectively communicating all information pertaining to the customer with all parties involved: Sales team, operations, demand planning, and management
  • Expected to maintain a high accuracy level regarding data entry & communication
  • Other duties as assigned by management
