Location: Brunswick, Sindelfingen, Munich or (remote work) in Prague, Mladá Boleslav (Czech Republic), Pune or Bangalore (India)
We are looking for a VMware Administrator (m/f/d) who will be responsible for the operations and optimiasation of our VMware vSphere and Horizon environment

These exciting tasks await you:

  • Setting up and configuring VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts and vCenter
  • Creating and managin virtual machines to optimise the infrastructure
  • Configuration of storage (SAN, NAS, vSAN) for effiecient data storage
  • Troubleshooting and error correction to ensure smooth operation
  • Managing access rights and security policies for virtual environments
  • Development and implementation of backup and recovery strategies
  • Patch and update management for hosts to ensure system security
  • Analysing and resolving performance problems to increase efficiency
  • Collaboration in 1st and 2nd level support to assist internal users

YOUR SOFT SKILLS:

  • Very good communication and teamwork skills

  • The ability to solve complex problems independently

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally a degree in computer science or equivalent training
  • You have a sound knowledge of VMware and ideally have already gained practical experience in this environemnt
  • Solid experience in the configuration and administration of VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts and vCenter
  • Expertise in creating and managing virtual machines
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot and analyse problems in VMware environments
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
