VMware Operations Engineer (VMware Horizon / VCentre / VDI / Banking Domain

We are looking to hire a VMware Operations Engineer to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank .

• Possess at least 3 years of relevant VMware experience
• Experience in VMware Horizon and VCentre is required
• Proficiency in troubleshooting VDI performance and connectivity issues.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, including incident, problem, and change management.⁠
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) for managing service requests and incidents.⁠
• Strong understanding of VDI components such as connection servers, desktop pools, golden images, and linked clones.⁠
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and virtual machine management.⁠⁠
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile management in a VDI context.⁠
• Solid understanding of networking principles (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.).⁠
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as VMware vROps or similar.⁠
• Understanding of storage technologies, including SAN and NAS, in relation to VDI.
• Experience in Powershell Scripting will be an advantage
• Willing to do weekend work on Sat and Sun, once a month on rotational basis.
