Description

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the VM to OLVM migration program ensuring alignment and strategic objectives Develop and manage detailed migration schedules, cutover plans and dependency maps across applications, databases and infrastructure. Coordinate migrations with cross functional teams (Infrastructure, Database, Applications and Business Units) Proactively Identify and escalate program risks, issues, and challenges related to migrations and driving mitigation strategies. Overseeing capacity planning, performance validation and disaster recovery readiness during and after migration Deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate program status, risks, and outcomes. Drive post migration stabilization, optimization and knowledge transfer across different operational teams Partner with Infrastructure, Database, Security, business units and Application teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery. Drive task assignment, prioritization, and resource planning across global teams. Implement governance models, steering committee updates, and structured program reviews. Ensure adherence to timelines, compliance, and quality standards across all program activities. Navigate stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration across business units, technology teams, and external vendors. Our mission it to enable Fidelity's application development teams to go faster by bringing together architecture, Infrastructure, Development Tools, Security, Operations and Program Office functions in agile, delivery-oriented teams to build/configure/sustain internal and external cloud platforms and development ecosystems. We are the DBA horizontal supporting various RDBMS for multiple Businesses across Fidelity. Providing stability is the foremost aspect of our team. Experience: 8-10 years of program/project management experience with a strong focus on IT Infrastructure (Virtualization) and Database platforms. Domain Expertise: Proven track record in Vmware to Olvm migrations, and large-scale IT transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of virtualization, hypervisor technologies, Oracle, DB2 and Sql Server databases. Leadership: Ability to coordinate large global teams and navigate through senior leadership and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; experience presenting to senior executives. Tools: Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., JIRA, Power BI) and IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 8 - 10 years 2) Must be ready to work in 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM Shift 3) Flexible to work in Client Location Manyata or EGL, Bangalore 4) Must be ready to work from office in a Hybrid work environment.
