Description

As a Senior VMware / Virtualisation Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage the virtual infrastructure supporting MPC and legacy systems. You will integrate storage and networking, provide expert‑level support, and act as a single point of contact for virtualisation deliverables while collaborating with design and architecture teams. What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed Deliver Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service for Linux, Windows, SQL, and Oracle environments. Design, deploy, and manage the VMware server environment, integrating with storage systems and virtual networking. Provide hands‑on support for production systems and upgrades, including after‑hours support. Troubleshoot server hardware, Linux systems, networking, and databases. Collaborate with networking teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless integration. Participate in audits, disaster‑recovery scenarios, and training sessions for operational resources. Serve as a single point of contact for virtualisation deliverables and collaborate with design and architecture teams. We'd Love to Hear From You If... Experience You have at least five years of experience in virtualisation engineering. You have proven expertise in VMware ESXi/vSphere environments. Technical Expertise You possess strong skills in VMware administration and virtualisation. You are experienced with storage integration (SAN/NAS). You have knowledge of virtual networking and its integration with infrastructure. You are proficient in Linux and Windows administration. You have scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python). You are experienced in disaster recovery planning and execution. Ways of Working You are resilient under pressure and thrive in demanding operational environments. You collaborate effectively across teams, including networking and database administrators. You communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Assignment Details Contract Duration: 5 years (1 Jul 2026 – 30 Jun 2031) Shift: 24×7 support for Tier‑1 & Tier‑2; 8×5 for Tier‑3 non‑production
