Join our Team About this opportunity This role involves managing and supporting Windows Server and VMware infrastructure to maintain high availability, performance, and security. The administrator will handle daily operations, incident resolution, patching, virtualization management, and system monitoring, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient IT services. What you will do Manage day-to-day operations of Windows and VMware environments. Handle incidents, changes, and service requests within defined SLAs. Perform server patching, updates, and health checks. Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines (creation, migration, snapshots). Support 24x7 shift operations, Shift handover and mentor L1 team members as needed for the correct task's assignment. Work on incidents, changes, and service requests using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.). Adhere to change management and security compliance processes. Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams for cross-functional issues. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives. You will bring Good knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, VM administration and Vcenter administration. Coordinate with hardware vendors for repairs and maintenance and manage software support cases with vendors for issue resolution. Administration and problem-solving capability in HP, Dell and Lenovo Hardware, Firmware BIOS upgrade Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server. Monitor and manage virtual machines (VMs), including provisioning, deployment, and resource allocation. Troubleshoot and resolve VMware-related issues. Provide technical support for Windows and VMware-related issues, escalating complex problems to senior when necessary. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to servers, virtual machines, and applications. Nutanix , SRM, vRops will be added advantage Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in training sessions and take initiative to expand knowledge in Windows and VMware administration. Monitor system performance using tools like Windows Event Viewer, VMware vSphere Client, and other monitoring software. Perform regular system health checks and report findings to senior administrators. Ready to work in 24 X 7 work environment. Experience in Windows Server administration and support (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022) , System upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Experience with patch management and security best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
