Description

Context ​​Under the overall supervision of the Head of Sub-Office (HoSO) in Cotabato and direct supervision of the Migration Health Coordinator, the successful candidate is responsible and accountable for supporting the quality implementation of IOM’s health programming in Mindanao, particularly in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The candidate is expected to work closely with Department of Health, Ministry of Health (MOH) – BARMM and its local constituents to strengthen core functions and capacities for Social Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE). Focused particularly for Health System Strengthening (HSS), Safe Motherhood (SM), Adolecent Reproductive Health (ARH), and Global Health Security (GHS), the candidate will promote effective, inclusive strategies that are contextualized to local needs, integrate migrant sensitivities and mobility lens, and are in line with IOM standards, policies, and commitments. ​
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the quality implementation of IOM’s health programming in Mindanao, focusing on strengthening SBCC and RCCE capacities. They will work closely with local health authorities to promote effective strategies tailored to local needs.
