JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled VNA Forklift Operator to join our growing team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe operation of a VNA truck, putting pallets away / taking pallets out of racking system as required. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform heavy lifting and picking tasks when required is also needed. There will be a requirement to do some picking within the role when needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience operating VNA forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential.
• Current VNA forklift certificate
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Excellent materials handling skills, ensuring safe movement of products within the facility.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members.

• Operate VNA / forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from racking, ensuring accurate placement and securing of goods
• Maintain an organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
• Utilise a warehouse management system for tracking inventory levels and movements.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.
