Description
We are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. We get up every day, roll up our sleeves and build a better world -- together. At Ford, we’re all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Are you ready to change the way the world moves? As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love. The successful candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning & strategy and extensive experience leading programs through program approval. Responsibilities include project management, data-driven analysis and cross functional engagement with vehicle programs and manufacturing engineering (stamping, body, paint, final assembly, IE, MP&L, Ford Land). The role requires quantifying manufacturing costs for vehicle programs and translating technical findings into clear financial insights. Key areas include: 1) serving as direct interface with vehicle program planning and manufacturing skill teams on advanced product program analysis and milestone studies; 2) conducting financial analysis of strategic sourcing to support decision making. At Ford Motor Company, we believe freedom of movement drives human progress. With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career and help us define tomorrow’s transportation. We build world-class vehicles in our plants around the world, constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. It’s our people who really make the difference. We encourage all of our employees to think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles.
