We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMYOI Wetherby, working as a Vocational Cover Teacher in either Construction, Barbering or Music. This role is offered on a permanent, sessional basis, working ad hoc hours per week.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Hold Teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
• Hold Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or commit to work towards within a specified timeframe
