Abode Education is a nurturing, therapeutic Alternative Provision committed to supporting pupils who struggle in mainstream education. We are looking for a hands-on Vocational Instructor to deliver practical learning in Carpentry, Construction, and Creative Art, Cookery/ Catering, to KS3/KS4 Young people, preparing them for future careers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose: To provide engaging, practical vocational training linked to accredited qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver workshops in chosen vocational area.
• Ensure safe working practices in all sessions.
• Embed employability and life skills.
• Manage small groups or one to one with SEMH needs.
• Safeguard young people in line with Abode policy.
