Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday This role is part of the VBSE Finance Team and is an important role in enabling a high growth area of the business to operate at pace while maintaining financial governance objectives. You will be responsible for Revenue and gross margin budgeting and forecasting. Regularly updating quarterly and full year revenue and gross margin forecasts, ensuring action plans are in place with VBSE sales and delivery teams to achieve budget expectations. You will also be responsible for: Revenue recognition- Ensuring accounting policies are adhered to and appropriate revenue accruals and prepayments in place in line with required month end timelines. Opex/Capex/CoS management - Ensuring spend is within budgeted levels and any gaps known and understood. Review and approval of profitability for bids and new business. Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA) - with a depth of experience in finance/commercial analysis- Essential Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process- Essential Strong stakeholder management skills and ability influence decision making - Essential Intermediate to Advanced Excel- Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS etc - Essential Knowledge of telecoms - Desirable
