Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri The Project Planner role will be aligned to a large complex customer-facing project or programme. The role will be operating across an entire portfolio or business/function area where multiple programmes and projects are being delivered. The role will be dedicated to planning and monitoring multiple Projects /Programme from beginning to end. Tasked with creating detailed project plans and ensuring that project teams align to the activities in the plan to deliver projects on schedule and within budget through the lifecycle of the project. The planner will offer insight through reporting identification of potential risks that can delay or increase cost and work with the teams to take remedial action. You will also be involved in: Working as a key member of the PMO/ Programme/Project team to develop and maintain integrated project programme plans. Working with teams and stakeholders on resource allocation and work scheduling. Ensure the plans are resourced and budgeted to complete each stage to schedule. Provides project data to teams to help them work more effectively identifying and communicating changes in the project plan to stakeholders. Provides reports on deviations to the original project plan that can lead to delays and budget overruns. Proactively manage the risk management plan and any key or strategic risks likely to impact the project scope, budget, timeline, revenue, or other factors detrimental to the delivery of the project and realisation, offers solutions to prevent them. Supporting project changes that have wider implications (across multiple projects, programmes, and portfolios). Identify the impact of project/programme changes across overall critical path. MS Project (Advanced). Excel (Intermediate). A recognised qualification or certification in PMO / Assurance (P3O, ISEB) PRINCE2 or certification achieved in recognised project management methodology. Demonstrable experience of planning and tracking complex projects and programmes to meet business expectations and deliver results. Exceptional organisational and communication skills, along with the personal tenacity and the ability to drive through to conclusion in a dynamic and challenging environment.
