We are a very dynamic All-Ages Music School. We are in need of a new and wonderful addition to our team at MMS. I’m open to lots of ideas, but we need someone with teaching skills, great energy, and musicianship. We really need to start having another Voice/Piano teacher available to take students throughout the week bonus if you can also teach guitar and ukulele. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Voice/Piano Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in voice/piano playing and teaching, and be able to provide guidance to students of all levels. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate techniques, provide feedback, and help students reach their goals. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about music and teaching others.
It has been a mix of piano/voice lessons, but we can evolve the position to fit the right person. The right person needs to be reliable. We are currently looking for Monday to Friday availability.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and teach vocal and piano techniques and styles.
• Provide feedback and guidance to students on their playing.
• Develop lesson plans that are tailored to the individual student’s needs and interests.
• Encourage students to practice and improve their skills.
• Provide guidance on music theory, technique, and improvisation.
• Help students develop their musical ear.
• Maintain a positive learning environment.

We have great instruments and great gear for teaching, performing, and recording. Every weekend, we have makeup lessons, master classes, album recording, and jamming galore. We do our best to teach anyone regardless of race, gender, or ability. Currently, we do work with about 60% people under 15, and then a mix of every other age. Every teaching space comes ready to roll, and we fully intend to continue improving the space on a regular basis.
Professional Colorado casual dress code is required. We’re not going to be the gnarly players in concert t-shirts kind-of-school. We are so excited to have this opportunity and believe that some of the people who read this ad will share this vision.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching voice and piano
- Strong curriculum development skills
- Experience working with children and adults
- Classroom management experience
- Ability to provide support to students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse students
