Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

The Voice Network Specialist – L2 is primarily responsible for managing, supporting and maintaining of voice communication hardware, software and systems. They will be managing Cisco CUCM infrastructure for voice services, assisting in server maintenance, application deployments, implementation and maintenance of IT Operations support tools, as well as incident troubleshooting and resolution. As a member of our network operations team, they will participate with network and firewall activities especially those related to voice services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot software and hardware components of voice communication applications and systems.
  • Manage multi-region infrastructure for Cisco Unified Communications (UC).
  • Support end users on CUCM integrated service infrastructure for voice and video.
  • Assist with network and firewall configuration related to voice communication services.
  • Troubleshoot LAN and WAN issues affecting voice communication services.
  • Participate in the development and engineering of long term strategies for the IT Network.
  • Provide support to business users and key stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in the creation of documentation including: Runbooks, how-to user guides & technical how-to support guides, and Method of Procedures (MoP).
  • Support and evolve the monitoring and reviewing of system dashboards and critical alerts to ensure system issues are identified, escalated, and addressed as quickly as possible.
