We’re looking for Malaysians who speak Mandarin or Cantonese to take part in a short one-off project that helps improve AI technology for the financial industry. This project aims to capture authentic banking conversations in Mandarin and Cantonese to help AI understand how Malaysians truly speak. Every conversation you record helps make banking technology more inclusive and accessible for all Malaysians. It ensures that AI can understand real local voices, from the young to the elderly, and from every corner of the country. By contributing your voice, you will help shape smarter, safer, and more human AI systems that serve everyone better. If you speak Mandarin or Cantonese and want to make a meaningful impact on the future of banking AI in Malaysia, we would love to have you on board. Personal Data Safety and Confidentiality Your conversations will be recorded, anonymized, and used exclusively to train AI models that serve the financial industry. Conversation topics are product focused and any sensitive information will be redacted before being used for training. What will I be doing? Make phone calls to banks in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (Malaysian Chinese accent) Follow the assigned call objectives to navigate the conversation with the bank’s representatives. Topics include: Banking scenarios about financial products, such as credit cards, savings accounts, or online banking features Record clear, high-quality audio of each call (10-30 minutes per recording) Upload the audio to the folder through the link below. Maintain confidentiality and data privacy at all times What will I need for the project? Be a native speaker or fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese Be based in Malaysia Join one briefing session (12 or 13th November 2025, 7.00pm - 8.00pm MYT) Ability to handle phone conversations confidently A quiet environment and a reliable internet connection Device with a good quality microphone for recording Project Details: Project Duration: November 11th, 2025 to November 14th, 2025 Estimated Contribution: 1 - 1.5 hours Earn between RM10 - RM60 or up to RM75 for 6 phone calls.
