THE CLIENT
Our contract with Stonewater is long term with the option to extend the partnership again. On our contract we cover over 7,500 houses in 4 different areas of the South-West, from Taunton and Yeovil, over to Bristol and Swindon and down to Salisbury and Bournemouth. We currently deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program. THE ROLE
Here at Fortem we’re recruiting for a Voids Supervisor for our Stonewater Housing contract, based in their head office in Chippenham. As a Voids Supervisor, you will oversee a dedicated team of tradespeople, ensuring that all voids work is completed efficiently and within tight deadlines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities • Lead, support, and inspire a team of tradespeople to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, meeting deadlines and achieving first-time success. • Collaborate with various departments and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels to deliver exceptional service. • Motivate, coach, and retain skilled tradespeople, fostering a positive and productive work environment. • Develop and implement a method for accurately assessing and categorising the competency levels of all team members. • Oversee the Health & Safety performance of contractors, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. • Manage the selection, recruitment, and ongoing performance of tradespeople, ensuring the team consistently meets company standards.
