JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity has arisen, based in Gloucester, for a Void Supervisor to work on behalf of a national contractor that has been in business for over 30 years. The successful candidate will have previously worked at supervisory level with a background in voids and empty properties. A company vehicle is included with fuel card and you must hold a clean drivers’ licence for insurance purposes. Ideally this person will have a trade background and be willing to assist if need be to get works completed within the set timescale.

• Ensure a high-quality service is provided with the management of the work in accordance with company procedures, standards and SLAs
• Manage the voids day to day, be responsible for the manpower on sites and have snag free work produced whilst reporting back to the Contracts Manager daily
• Maximise variation opportunities to increase revenue so all additional work not specified is captured and reported back for approval.
• Effective and efficient management of material cost and ensure that all are following correct processes and procedures
• Monitor quality of work through inspection, inspection reports, analysis of key performance indicators and analysis of customer satisfaction surveys
• Ensure Health and Safety is managed in accordance with company policy
• To assist the Contracts Manager in developing staff to maximise potential, setting employee goals and objectives.
