Summary: The Sign-In Table Attendant will serve as the welcoming face of IID Awareness Day at the Pueblo Zoo, greeting guests, managing check-in, distributing event materials, and offering basic information and directions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage comfortably with individuals of all abilities. The attendant plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience for the 800+ expected attendees. Key Responsibilities: Greet attendees with a friendly and inclusive attitude Collect names, emails, and any other necessary details on the sign-in sheet or electronic device Distribute event materials (e.g., programs, maps, wristbands, goodie bags) Provide basic event information and answer general questions Direct guests to key locations such as restrooms, the main stage, or specific activities Coordinate with the Community Engagement Team on any concerns or VIP arrivals Monitor the flow of guests and communicate when help is needed at the table Requirements Qualifications: Friendly and approachable demeanor Comfortable interacting with individuals of all abilities and ages Organized and attentive to detail Punctual and reliable Able to remain at the sign-in area for the duration of the assigned shift Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods May need to lift boxes with event materials (up to 15 lbs) If you are interested, please complete the online Volunteer application.
