Description
Overview Making the decision to change your behaviour or seek support can feel overwhelming for the people who come to us, and that’s where you can make a real difference. As a Behaviour Change Volunteer with Change Grow Live, you’ll play an important part in supporting people who use our services. You’ll help create a welcoming, positive environment and encourage people as they take steps towards healthier choices and the goals that matter to them. Responsibilities With this role, you’ll be part of our Behaviour Change Team, based across our multiple hubs in Hull. The team supports people who are looking to make positive changes around drug or alcohol use. No two days are the same. We treat every person as an individual, so being open-minded, curious, and a good listener will really help you in this role. As a volunteer, you’ll be supported every step of the way. You’ll have regular supervision, someone on site you can speak to for day-to-day guidance, and access to training that will help you build confidence, skills, and experience. In return for your time, you’ll be making a genuine difference to the people who use our service. Here’s what people say about volunteering with us and using our services: “I like the team spirit — we all bring something different, and we always put the people who use our service first.” “Seeing people move forward in their treatment journey and regain a zest for life is so rewarding.” From someone we support: “Coming here gives me stability. Me and my key worker get on really well, and it really benefits me.” Our values are to be compassionate, open, and bold. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you, just click apply.
