QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in the disability sector
• Effective communications skills, verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable and organized

• Finding books to offer to the group for reading and discussion.
• Creating a schedule of meetings and book discussions
• Facilitating open, respectful, and stimulating discussions about the book’s content, themes, and author
• Developing discussion questions or topics to guide the conversation
• Ensuring that all members have an opportunity to express their views
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive environment for all club members
• Communicating with members about meeting times, locations, and any changes to the schedule
• Encouraging members to recommend books for future discussions
• Handling any member conflicts or issues that arise
