POSITION SUMMARY

Do you thrive on connecting people, supporting volunteerism, and building community relationships? KCR Community Resources is seeking a Volunteer Community Engagement Facilitator to strengthen volunteerism across the Central Okanagan. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for VolunteerConnector program inquiries, support volunteer managers with capacity building, and promote meaningful volunteer opportunities.
You’ll also contribute to fund and resource development through community outreach, support for the Okanagan Volunteer Fair, and sponsorship engagement ensuring that KCR’s programs are visible, sustainable, and impactful for volunteers, partners, and the wider community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with working and managing volunteers
• A motivated individual who thrives on making connections, networking, recognizing opportunities and engaging with others
• Experience working with fundraising database software is considered an asset
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
