About the Role The Volunteer Coordinator is the organised force that helps our volunteer space run at its best. You’re the behind‑the‑scenes superstar - the person who keeps things moving, supports our volunteer team, and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks. Day to day, you’ll bring structure, clarity, and steady energy to support a busy and passionate team. You’ll keep the admin and compliance running smoothly, helping the team stay clear, organised, and supported every day. And you won’t be doing it alone - you’ll be part of a kind, welcoming team who truly appreciate your eye for detail and your ability to get things done. This is a 12‑month contract role working 22.8 hours (3 days) per week. We're asking for Tuesdays and Fridays specifically and are flexible on your 3rd day. Alternatively, we're open to 5 shorter days per week. A Snapshot of What You’ll Be Doing Managing the volunteer mailbox and responding to day‑to‑day queries Keeping volunteer compliance up to date (WWCC, Police Checks, training, immunisations, paperwork etc) Working through admin tasks and updating our systems Supporting the Operations Lead with projects Helping the team wherever needed - you’ll be our “go‑to” person for support About You You’ll be a great fit if you: Enjoy helping things run smoothly and keeping the team organised Feel a little spark of joy from ticking things off a to‑do list Don’t mind asking questions and are happy to learn as you go Like being the steady, calm person behind the scenes Have a keen attention to detail and know how you prioritise your days Enjoy big picture thinking and always have the best interest of our volunteers at heart Notice the small details and take pride in getting things right Might be returning to work, studying, or simply love admin and supporting people Feeling excited?
