Evaluate volunteer program services annually and provide recommendations for development, improvement, or expansion. Provide information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer services. Prepares monthly and annual service reports. Acts as liaison between hospice staff and volunteers. Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities as assigned. Attend regular IDT meetings and complete IDT documentation. Facilitates community awareness and support of UnityPoint at Home volunteer program. Acts as liaison between hospice staff and volunteers. Carry out other assignments as may be appropriate. Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities as assigned. Attend staff meetings and other meetings as assigned and appropriate. Participate in orientation and training of new employees working in the hospice program. Prepare service reports as requested by Hospice Administrator. Assures volunteers and volunteer program meets Hospice Conditions of Participation. Enter hospice volunteer frequency orders as needed. Maintain a record-keeping system in SharePoint which includes services delivered and actual time involved. Qualifications Education: Associates degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience working with patients/families/caregivers through death and dying issues Licensure/Certifications: Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Valid Mandatory Reporter course completion by state(s) requirement #UPaHomeNursing
