Group Cofacilitator – Co-ed Cards and Games (Volunteer)

Duration: 6months and above
Hours Required: 3 hours per week…Tuesdays only

• Training in mental health first aid, trauma informed care and related courses

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cofacilitate Co-ed cards and Games groups with CMHA worker once a week at CNRC
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all who attend.

KEY TASKS:

• Prepare materials for weekly cards and games as agreed upon with CNRC Outreach and Basic Needs Coordinator and CMHA worker.
• Provide co-facilitation of weekly group’s activities
• Provide facilitation of group when CMHA co-facilitator is required to meet needs of individual participant in crisis.
